Tubbease ™ has been developed in New Zealand by Cambridge Farrier Erin Hampson-Tindale. Erin tried to solve the hoof problem, which was "rotting" while remaining in commonly used, non-breathable dressings. As a consequence, Erin has created a rubberized sock that breathes and at the same time protects the damaged hoof. The flow of air prevents the hoof from softening during the treatment period, while the thick EVA sole reduces the pain experienced by the horse and extends the life of Tubbease ™.
You can use various medications under the sock, including ailments such as oil in the hoof, cracked sole, injuries or general weakness of the hoof.
The sizes given are the maximum width of the hoof.
Tubbease ™ is a reserved model No. 417646.
Note: Tubbease should always be secured with a hook-and-loop fastener strap.
